وَيَلْبَسُونَand they wearاللَّهَGod(peace be upon him)::يَخْرُجُwill emergeفِيinآخِرِthe endالزَّمَانِof timeقَوْمٌa groupيَخْتَلُونَwho deceiveالدُّنْيَاthe worldبِالدِّينِwith religion

And they wear (the clothing) of God (peace be upon him): 'A group will emerge at the end of time who deceive the world with religion.'

لِلْنَّاسِFor peopleمُسُوكَ(with) the skinالضَّأْنِof sheepمِنْfromاللِّينَgentlenessأَلْسِنَتِهِمtheir tonguesأَحْلَىsweeterمِنْthanالسُّكَّرِsweetness

For people, they have the skins of sheep, from gentleness, their tongues are sweeter than sweetness.

وَقُلُوبُهُمْAnd their heartsقُلُوبٌheartsالذِّئَابِof wolves

And their hearts are the hearts of wolves.

يَقُولُHe saysاللَّهُGodعَزَّ وَجَلَّthe Exalted and Majestic::أَبِيMy fatherيَغْتَرُّونَ؟Are they deceived?وَعَلَيَّAnd upon meيَجْتَرِئُونَ؟do they dare?فَبِيBy meحَلَفْتُI have swornلَأَبْعَثَنَّthat I will certainly sendعَلَىagainstأُلَـٰئِكَthoseمِنْهُمْfrom them

God, the Exalted and Majestic, says: 'Does my father deceive? And do they dare upon me? By me, I have sworn that I will certainly send against those from them...'

فِتْنَةًa trialتَدَعُthat will leaveالْحَلِيمَthe patientحَيْرَانًاconfused

A trial that will leave the patient confused.

فِيهِمIn themوَذَكَرَAnd mentionابْنَIbnأَبِيAbuالدُّنْيَاAl-Dunyaمِنْfromحَدِيثِthe narrationجَعْفَرَJafarبْنِbinمُحَمَّدٍMuhammadعَنْaboutأَبِيهِhis fatherعَنْaboutجَدِّهِhis grandfatherبِالدِّينِ،about religion,أَلْسِنَتِهِمْ...their tongues...أَخْرَجَهُNarrated byالطَّبَرِيِّAl-Tabariفِيinالتَّفْسِيرِthe interpretation

In them, Ibn Abu Dunya mentioned a narration from Jafar bin Muhammad about his father about his grandfather regarding religion, 'their tongues...'. It was narrated by Al-Tabari in the interpretation.

وَسَنَدُهُAnd its chainحَسَنٌis goodرَاجِعْrefer toسُنَنِthe Sunanسَعِيدِof SaidبْنِbinمَنْصُورٍMansoor[التَّفْسِيرِ][the interpretation]

And its chain is good. Refer to the Sunan of Said bin Mansoor [the interpretation].

أَيَّwhich meansيَطْلُبُونَthey seekالدُّنْيَاthe worldبِعَمَلِwith the deedsالآخِرَةِ.of the Hereafter.

Which means they seek the world with the deeds of the Hereafter.

النَّهَايَةُThe endوَفِيAnd inزَthe version:«يُحِيلُونَ»،'they turn (it around),' تَصْحِيفٌ.it is a corruption.

The end. And in the version: 'they turn (it around),' it is a corruption.

لِلْنَّاسِ»For people,'سَاقِطٌis omittedمِنَfromفَ.F.

'For people' is omitted from F.

الْمُسُوكُThe skin::الْجُلُودُ،the hides,جَمْعٌthe plural ofمَنْكِ.manek.

The skin: the hides, the plural of manek.

وَقَالَAnd he saidصَاحِبُthe authorتَحْفَةِof the giftالأَحْوَذِيِّof Al-Ahwardhi(727)(727).كَذَاLikewiseفِيinالنُّسَخِthe copiesالْحَاضِرَةِpresentبِالتَّنْوِينِ.with the nunation.

And the author of the gift of Al-Ahwardhi (727) said likewise in the present copies with the nunation.

وَذَكَرَAnd mentionedالْمُنْذِرِيُّAl-Mundhiriهَذَاthisالْحَدِيثَhadithفِيinالتَّرْغِيبِthe encouragementنَقْلًاtransmittedعَنْbyالتُّرْمِذِيِّ،Al-Tirmidhi,وَفِيهِ:and in it:(حَيْرَان)(confused)بِغَيْرِwithoutالتَّنْوِينِ،the nunation,وَكَذَلِكَand likewiseفِيinالْمِشْكَاةِ،the Mishkat,وَهُوَand it isالظَّاهِرُ.apparent.

Al-Mundhiri mentioned this hadith in encouragement transmitted by Al-Tirmidhi, and in it: '(confused)' without the nunation, and likewise in the Mishkat, and it is apparent.

فِيInالْعُقُوبَاتِthe penalties(8).(8).وَأَخْرَجَهُAnd it was narrated byابْنُIbnبَطَّةِBattaفِيinإِبْطَالِinvalidatingالْحِيَلِthe tricks(1)،(1),مِنْfromطَرِيقِthe pathمُحَمَّدِMuhammadبْنِbinعَبْدِالْمَلِكِAbdul MalikالدُّقِيقِيِّAl-DuqiqiعَنْaboutيَزِيدَYazidبْنِbinهَارُونَHarunعَنْaboutعَبْدِاللَّهِAbdullahبْنِbinدُكَيْنِDukinعَنْaboutجَعْفَرَJafarبْنِbinمُحَمَّدِMuhammadعَنْaboutأَبِيهِhis fatherعَنْaboutجَدِّهِhis grandfatherعَنْaboutعَلِيٍّAliبْنِbinأَبِيAbuطَالِبٍTalibفَذَكَرَهُ.and he mentioned it.

In the penalties (8). And it was narrated by Ibn Batta in invalidating the tricks (1), from the path of Muhammad bin Abdul Malik Al-Duqiqi about Yazid bin Harun about Abdullah bin Dukin about Jafar bin Muhammad about his father about his grandfather about Ali bin Abu Talib, and he mentioned it.

قُلْتُI said:قَدْIt has beenاِخْتَلَفَdisputedفِيهِabout itعَلَىonيَزِيدَYazidبْنِbinهَارُونَHarunفَرَوَاهُand narratedمُحَمَّدٌMuhammadبْنِbinيَحْیَىYahyaالأَزْدِيُّthe AzdiعَنْfromيَزِيدَYazidبِهِabout itمَرْفُوعًا.elevated.

I said: 'It has been disputed about it on Yazid bin Harun, and it was narrated by Muhammad bin Yahya Al-Azdi from Yazid about it elevated.

أَخْرَجَهُIt was narrated byابْنُIbnعَدِيٍّAdiفِيinالْكَّامِلِthe complete(228/4)(228/4)وَالْبَيْهَقِيُّand Al-Bayhaqiفِيinالشَّعْبِthe nation(1764).(1764).

It was narrated by Ibn Adi in the complete (228/4) and Al-Bayhaqi in the nation (1764).

وَرَوَاهُAnd narratedسَعِيدٌSaidبْنِbinسُلَيْمَانَSulaimanسَعْدَوِيًّاSaadwi aboutعَبْدِاللَّهِAbdullahبْنِbinدُكَيْنٍDukinبِهِabout itمَرْفُوعًا.elevated.

And narrated by Said bin Sulaiman Saadwi about Abdullah bin Dukin about it elevated.

أَخْرَجَهُIt was narrated byالْبَيْهَقِيُّAl-Bayhaqiفِيinالشَّعْبِthe nation(1763).(1763).

It was narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in the nation (1763).

وَرَوَاهُAnd narratedبَشَرٌBasharبْنِbinالْوَلِيدِAl-WalidعَنْaboutعَبْدِاللَّهِAbdullahبْنِbinدُكَيْنٍDukinبِهِabout itمَوْقُوفًا.stopped.

And narrated by Bashar bin Al-Walid about Abdullah bin Dukin about it stopped.

أَخْرَجَهُIt was narrated byأَبُوAbuعَمْرٍوAmrالدَّانِيُّAl-Daniفِيinالسُّنَنِthe traditionsالْمَوْرُودَةِtransmittedفِيinالْفِتَنِthe trialsوَغَوَائِلِهَاand its consequences(236)(236)وَابْنُand IbnعَدِيٍّAdi(228/4 -(228/4 -

It was narrated by Abu Amr Al-Dani in the traditions transmitted about the trials and its consequences (236) and Ibn Adi (228/4 -.
