وَصَدَقَتْAnd it is true.فَيُنادِيThen callsمُنَادٍa callerمِنْfromالسَّمَاءِthe skyأَنْthatصَدَقَتْmy servant is true.فَأَفْرِشُوهُSo spread for himمِنْfromالْجَنَّةِParadise.وَأَلْبِسُوهُAnd dress himمِنْfromالْجَنَّةِParadise.وَافْتَحُواAnd open for himلَهُfor himبَابًاa doorإِلَىtoالْجَنَّةِParadise.

And it is true. Then a caller calls from the sky that my servant is true. So spread for him from Paradise, and dress him from Paradise, and open for him a door to Paradise.

قَالَHe said:«فَيَأْتِيَهُ"Then comes to himمِنْfromرُوحِهَاits spiritوَطِيبِهَاand its good fragrance,وَيُفْسَحُand is made wideلَهُfor himفِيinقَبْرِهِhis graveمَدَّas far asبَصَرِهِhis sight reaches.

He said: "Then comes to him from its spirit and its good fragrance, and his grave is made wide as far as his sight reaches.

قَالَHe said:وَيَأْتِيَهُ"And comes to himرَجُلٌa manحَسَنُgoodالْوَجْهِface,حَسَنٌgoodالثِّيَابِclothes,طِيبٌpleasantالرِّيحِscent,فَيَقُولُand says:أَبْشِرْRejoice!بَالَّذِيwith whatيُسُرُّكَpleases you,هَذَاthisيَوْمُكَis your dayالَّذِيthatكُنتَyou wereتُوعَدُpromised.

He said: "And comes to him a man with a good face, good clothes, and pleasant scent, and says: Rejoice with what pleases you, this is your day that you were promised."

فَيَقُولُThen he says to him:مَنْWhoأَنْتَ؟are you?فَوَجْهُكَFor your faceالْوَجْهُis the faceيَجِيءُthat comesبِالْخَيْرِ.with good."

Then he says to him: "Who are you? For your face is the face that comes with good."

فَيَقُولُHe says:أَنَاI amعَمَلُكَyour good deeds.الصَّالِحِ."

He says: "I am your good deeds."

فَيَقُولُHe says:رَبِّO Lord,أَقِمِestablishالسَّاعَةَ،the Hour,رَبِّO Lord,أَقِمِestablishالسَّاعَةَthe Hour,حَتَّىuntilأَرْجِعَI returnإِلَىtoأَهْلِيmy familyوَمَالِي.and my wealth."

He says: "O Lord, establish the Hour, O Lord, establish the Hour, until I return to my family and my wealth."

قَالَHe said:«وَإِنَّ"And indeedالْعَبْدَthe bondmanالْكَافِرَthe disbelieverإِذَاwhenكَانَhe isفِيinانْقِطَاعٍseparationمِنْfromالدُّنْيَاthe worldوَإِقْبَالٍand the approachمِنْfromالْأَخِرَةِ،the Hereafter,نَزَلَdescendsإِلَيْهِto himمِنْfromالسَّمَاءِthe skyمَلَائِكَةٌangelsسُودٌblackالْوُجُوهِ،faces,مَعَهُمْwith themالْمَسُوحُcoarse garments,فَيَجْلِسُونَand they sitمِنْهُfrom himمَدَّas far asالْبَصَرِ،the sight.

He said: "And indeed the disbeliever when he is in separation from the world and approaching the Hereafter, angels with black faces descend to him from the sky with coarse garments, and they sit from him as far as the sight reaches.

ثُمَّThenيَجِيءُcomesمَلَكُthe Angelالْمَوْتِ،of Death,حَتَّىuntilيَجْلِسَhe sitsعِندَbyرَأْسِهِ،his head,فَيَقُولُand says:أَيَّتُهَاO wickedالنَّفْسُsoul,اخْرُجِيdepartإِلَىtoسَخَطٍthe wrathمِنْofاللَّهِGodوَغَضَبٍ»and anger."

Then comes the Angel of Death, until he sits by his head, and says: "O wicked soul, depart to the wrath of God and anger."

قَالَHe said:فَتَفَرَّقُThen it spreadsفِيinجَسَدِهِ،his body,فَيَنْتَزِعُهَاand he takes it outكَمَاlikeيُنْتَزَعُit is pulled outالسَّقُودُthe slaughtering knifeمِنْfromالصُّوفِwet wool.

He said: "Then it spreads in his body, and he takes it out like the slaughtering knife is pulled from wet wool."

فَيَأْخُذُهَاThen he takes it.فَإِذَاWhenأَخَذَهَاhe takes it,لَمْhe does notيَدْعُهَاcall itفِيinيَدِهِhis handطَرْفَةَthe blinkعَيْنٍof an eyeحَتَّىuntilأَنْ»that.

Then he takes it. When he takes it, he does not keep it in his hand for the blink of an eye until it does not.
