بِالْبَقِيعِin Al-Baqiفَقَالَ:He said:«أَفَّ لَكَ،"Away with you,أَفٍّ لَكَ!»woe to you!"فَظَنَنْتُI thoughtأَنَّهُthat heيُرِيدُنِي.was referring to me.فَقَالَ:He said:«لَا،"No,وَلَكِنَّbutهَذَاthisقَبْرٌis the grave ofفُلَانٍSo-and-so.بَعَثْتُهُI sent himسَاعِيًاas a messengerعَلَىto (the)آلِfamily ofفُلَانٍ،So-and-so,فَغَلَّand he took a portionنَمِرَةًof a garmentفَدُرِّعَand he was shieldedالْآنَnowمِثْلَهَاwith something like itمِنَfromنَارٍ.fire.
In Al-Baqi, he said: "Away with you, woe to you!" I thought that he was referring to me. He said: "No, but this is the grave of So-and-so; I sent him as a messenger to the family of So-and-so, and he took a portion of a garment; and now he is shielded with something like it from fire.
وَفِيAnd inمُسْنَدِهِhis Musnadأَيْضًاalsoمِنْfromحَدِيثِthe hadithأَنَسٍof AnasبِنَbinمَالِكٍMalikقَالَ:he said:قَالَThe Messenger of Allahرَسُولُ اللَّهِsaid:«مَرَرْتُ"I passedلَيْلَةًone nightأُسْرِيَduring my night journeyبِيupon meعَلَىonقَوْمٍa peopleتُقَرَّضُwhose lips are cutشِفَاهُهُمْtheir lipsبِمَقَارِيضَwith scissorsمِنْofنَارٍ،fire,ذِئْبٍ.a wolf."
And in his Musnad also, from the hadith of Anas bin Malik, he said: The Messenger of Allah said: "I passed one night during my night journey upon a people whose lips are cut with scissors of fire, a wolf."
وَأَيْضًاAnd alsoالْفَضْلَAl-Fadlبِنَbinعُبَيْدِ اللَّهِUbaidullahلَاdoes notيَعْرِفُknowلَهُfor himسَمَاعًany hearingمِنْfromجَدِّهِhis grandfatherأَبِيAbuرَافِعٍ،Rafi',وَأَعْلَىand the highestطَبَقَةٍlevelيَرْوِيnarratesعَنْهُfrom himطَبَقَةًa levelكِبَارِof greatالتَّابِعِينَ.the followers.
And also Al-Fadl bin Ubaidullah does not have any hearing from his grandfather Abu Rafi’, and the highest level narrates from him is from the great followers.
وَلَهُAnd for himشَاهِدٌthere is a witnessعِندَwithالْبُخَارِيِّAl-Bukhariفِيinتَارِيخِهِhis history(١٣٥/٦)(135/6)
And for him, there is a witness in Al-Bukhari in his history (135/6).
وَ الْبَزَّارُAnd Al-Bazzarفِيinمُسْنَدِهِhis Musnad(۳۸۷۰)(3870)
And Al-Bazzar in his Musnad (3870).
مِنْfromطَرِيقِthe path ofالدَّرَاوَرْدِيِّal-DarawardiعَنْfromابْنِIbnالْهَادِAl-Hadعَنْfromعَبْدِ اللَّهِAbd alعَنْfromجَدَّتِهِhis grandmotherامْرَأَةٍwomanأَبِيof AbuرَافِعٍRafi',عَنْfromأَبِيAbuرَافِعٍRafi'
From the path of al-Darawardi from Ibn al-Had from Abdal from his grandmother, the woman of Abu Rafi', from Abu Rafi'.
فَذَكَرَهُHe mentioned itبِمَعْنَاهُ:in its meaning:قُلْتُI saidسَندُهُits chainحَسَنٌis goodلَكِنَّbutوَقَعَthere has occurredفِيْهِin itاخْتِلَافٌ.differences.
He mentioned it in its meaning: I said its chain is good, but there have occurred differences in it.
انْظُرْLookالطَّبَرَانِيَّto al-Tabaraniالمَطْلَبَthe demandعَنْfrom(٩٧٤)(974).
Look to al-Tabarani, the demand from (974).
وَلَهُAnd for himشَاهِدٌthere is another witnessآخَرُanotherفِيinالْحِلْيَةِAl-Hilya((١٨٤/١)((184/1)
And for him, there is another witness in Al-Hilya ((184/1).
مِنْFrom the path ofكَثِيرٍKathirبِنَbinزَيْدٍZaydعَنْfromأَبِيAbuرَافِعٍRafi',فَذَكَرَهُhe mentioned itبِنَحْوِهِ.similarly.
From the path of Kathir bin Zayd from Abu Rafi’, he mentioned it similarly.
وَلَعَلَّAnd perhapsهَذَاthisيَدُلُّindicatesعَلَىthatأَنَّthere isلِلْحَدِيثِto the hadithأَصْلٌ.an origin.
And perhaps this indicates that the hadith has an origin.
لَ: «إِلَى».Note: "to".النَّمِرَةُThe NMiraبُرْدَةٌis a robeمَخْطَطَةٌstripedمِنْofصُوفٍwoolمِنْofلِبَاسِthe garmentالْأَعْرَابِ.of the Bedouins.
Note: "to". The NMira is a striped robe of wool of the garment of the Bedouins.
انْظُرْSeeاللِّسَانَthe tongue(نَمِر).(Namer).

And it was narrated by Ibn Al-Mubarak in zuhd (819).
وَوْكَيعٌAnd Wakiفِيinالزُّهْدِthe zuhd.(۲۹۷)(297)
And Waki in the zuhd (297).
وَالْبَغَوِيُّAnd Al-Baghawiفِيinشَرْحِthe explanationالسُّنَّةِof the Sunnah(٤١٥٩)(4159)
And Al-Baghawi in the explanation of the Sunnah (4159).
وَغَيْرُهُمْAnd othersمِنْfromطَرِيقِthe path ofحَمَّادِHammadiبِنَbinسَلَمَةَSalamaعَنْfromعَلِيٍّAliبِنَbinزَيْدٍZaydبِنَbinجَدْعَانَJadwanعَنْfromأَنَسٍAnasفَذَكَرَهُhe mentioned it.
And others from the path of Hammadi bin Salama from Ali bin Zayd bin Jadwan from Anas, he mentioned it.
قُلْتُI saidعَلِيٌّAliبِنَbinزَيْدٍZaydفِيinحِفْظِهِhis preservationضَعْفٌ،is weak,لَكِنَّbutهَذَاthisمِمَّاis among that whichحَفِظَهُhe preservedعَنْfromأَنَسٍ،Anas,فَرَوَاهُso it was narrated byابْنُIbnالمُبَارَكِAl-Mubarakوَالْمُعْتَمِرُand Al-Mu'tamirبِنَbinسُلَيْمَانَSulaimanعَنْfromسُلَيْمَانَSulaimanالتَّيْمِيِّal-TaymiعَنْfromأَنَسٍAnasفَذَكَرَهُhe mentioned itبِمَثْلِهِ.similar to it.
I said Ali bin Zayd’s preservation is weak, but this is among what he preserved from Anas, so it was narrated by Ibn Al-Mubarak and Al-Mu'tamir bin Sulaiman from Sulaiman al-Taymi from Anas, he mentioned it similar to it.
أَخْرَجَهُIt was narratedأَبُوby AbuيَعْلَىYa'laفِيinمُسْنَدِهِhis Musnad(٤٠٦٩)(4069).
It was narrated by Abu Ya'la in his Musnad (4069).
وَأَبُوAnd AbuنَعِيمٌNaimفِيinالْحِلْيَةِthe Hilya(۱۷۲/۸)(172/8)
And Abu Naim in the Hilya (172/8).
وَالْبَيْهَقِيُّAnd Al-BayhaqiفِيinالشُّعَبِAl-Shu'ab(٤٦١١).(4611).
And Al-Bayhaqi in Al-Shu'ab (4611).
وَسَندُهُAnd its chainصَحِيحٌ.is authentic.
And its chain is authentic.
قَالَAbu Naim said:أَبُوAbuنَعِيمٌ:Naim said:مَشْهُورٌIt is well knownمِنْfromحَدِيثِthe hadithأَنَسٍ،of Anas,رُوِيَnarrated by several from him,عَدَّةٍ،many,وَحَدِيثٌand the hadithسُلَيْمَانَof Sulaimanعَزِيزٌ.is rare.
Abu Naim said: It is well known from the hadith of Anas, narrated by several from him, and the hadith of Sulaiman is rare.
وَرَوَاهُAnd it was narratedالْمُغِيرَةُby Al-MughiraبِنَbinحَبِيبٍHabib(خَتَنِ(the son-in-lawمَالِكٍof Malikدِينَارٍ)Dinar)بِنَbinدِينَارٍDinarعَنْfromأَنَسٍ،Anas,فَذَكَرَهُhe mentioned itبِمَثْلِهِsimilarlyأَخْرَجَهُIt was narratedابْنُby IbnحِبَّانَHibbanفِيinصَحِيحِهِhis Sahih(٥٣)(53)
And it was narrated by Al-Mughira bin Habib (the son-in-law of Malik Dinar) from Dinar from Anas, he mentioned it similarly. It was narrated by Ibn Hibban in his Sahih (53).
وَأَبُوAnd AbuيَعْلَىYa'la(٤١٦٠)(4160)
And Abu Ya'la (4160).
وَالْبَيْهَقِيُّAnd Al-BayhaqiفِيinالشُّعَبِAl-Shu'ab(٤٦١٢).(4612).
And Al-Bayhaqi in Al-Shu'ab (4612).
قُلْتُ:I said:فِيInالْمُغِيرَةِAl-Mughiraكَلَامٌthere are sayingsلَاthat do notيُضِرُّهُ.harm him.
I said: In Al-Mughira, there are sayings that do not harm him.
