وَتَارَةًAnd sometimesيَرْتِبُهَاhe arranges itعَلَيْهَاupon itبِصِيغَةٍin the formالشَّرْطِof conditionوَالْجَزَاءِand consequence,, كَقَوْلِهِlike his saying::﴿[إِنَّIfتَتَّقُواyou fearاللَّهَAllahيَجْعَلَHe will makeلَكُمْfor youفُرْقَانًاa criterionوَandيُكَفِّرْHe will forgiveعَنكُمْfrom youسَيِّئَاتِكُمْyour sinsوَandيَغْفِرْHe will pardonلَكُمْfor you﴾][[الْأَنْفَالِ/Al-Anfal/٢٩29]],, وَقَوْلِهِAnd his saying::فَإِنْBut ifتَابُواthey repentوَandأَقَامُواthey establishالصَّلَوٰةَthe prayerوَءَاتَوْاand giveالزَّكَاةَthe almsفَإِخْوَانُكُمْthen they are your brothersفِيinالدِّينِthe religion﴾][[التَّوْبَةِ/At-Tawbah/١١11]],, وَقَوْلِهِand his saying::﴿[وَأَلَّوْAnd ifاسْتَقَامُواthey were steadfastعَلَىonالطَّرِيقَةِthe right pathلَأَسْقَيْنَاهُمwe would give them drinksمَّاwhatغَدَقًاabundantly﴾][[الْجِنَّ/Al-Jinn/١٦16]]،, وَنَظَائِرِهِand similar verses.
And sometimes he arranges it in the form of condition and consequence, like his saying: "If you fear Allah, He will make for you a criterion and forgive your sins and pardon you" (Al-Anfal 29), and his saying: "But if they repent and establish the prayer and give the alms, then they are your brothers in the religion" (At-Tawbah 11), and his saying: "And if they were steadfast on the right path, we would give them drinks abundantly" (Al-Jinn 16), and similar verses.
وَتَارَةًAnd sometimesيَأْتِيit comesبِلَامِwith the 'lam' (of purpose)التَّعْلِيلِfor justification,, كَقَوْلِهِlike his saying::﴿[لِيَدَّبَّرُواSo that they may ponderوَيَتَذَكَّرَand rememberأُولُوthose whoالأَلْبَابِhave intellect
And sometimes it comes with the 'lam' (of purpose) for justification, like his saying: "So that they may ponder upon its verses, and remember those who have intellect" (Sad 29).
وَقَوْلِهِAnd his saying::﴿[لِنَكُونَso that we may beشُهَدَاءَwitnessesعَلَىagainstالنَّاسِthe peopleوandيَكُونَthe Messengerالرَّسُولُthe Messengerعَلَيْكُمْupon youشَهِيدًاa witness﴾][[الْبَقَرَةِ/Al-Baqarah/١٤٣143]]
And his saying: "So that we may be witnesses against the people, and the Messenger will be a witness against you" (Al-Baqarah 143).
وَتَارَةًAnd sometimesيَأْتِيit comesبِأَدَاةٍwith the tool(كَي)(ki) for purposeالَّتِيwhichلِلتَّعْلِيلِis for justification,, كَقَوْلِهِlike his saying::أَنْthatلَاnotيَكُونَthere beدُولَةٌa stateبَيْنَamongالأَغْنِيَاءِthe richمِنْكُمْfrom you﴾][[الْحَشْرِ/Al-Hashr/٧7]]
And sometimes it comes with the tool (ki) for purpose, like his saying: "that there not be a state among the rich from you" (Al-Hashr 7).
وَتَارَةًAnd sometimesيَأْتِيit comesبِبَائِنٍwith the ba' (of causation)السَّبَبِيَّةِfor cause,, كَقَوْلِهِlike his sayingتَعَالَى:the Exalted said:﴿[ذَٰلِكَThatبِمَاis because of whatقَدَّمَتْyour hands have forwardedأَيْدِيكُمْyour hands﴾][[آلِAl-عِمْرَانَ/Imran 182,, وَالْأَنْفَالِ/Al-Anfal/٥١51]]وَقَوْلِهِAnd his saying::﴿[بِمَاBecause of whatكُنتُمْyou wereتَعْمَلُونَdoing﴾][[الأَعْرَافِ/Al-A'raf/٤٣43(١)(1)
And sometimes it comes with the ba' (of causation), like his saying: "That is because of what your hands have forwarded" (Al-Imran 182, and Al-Anfal 51), and his saying: "Because of what you were doing" (Al-A'raf 43).
وَAndبِمَاbecause of whatكَانُواthey used toيَكْسِبُونَearn﴾][[الْأَنْعَامِAl-An'am/(١٢٩)129(٢)(2)وَقَوْلِهِAnd his saying::﴿[ذَٰلِكَThatبِأَنَّهُمْis because theyكَذَّبُواdisbelievedبِآيَاتِنَاin our signs﴾][[الأَعْرَافِ/Al-A'raf/١٤٦146(٣)(3)
And because of what they used to earn, and his saying: "That is because they disbelieved in our signs" (Al-A'raf 146).

(٢)(2)وَانْظُرْAnd seeأَيْضًاalsoالأَعْرَافَAl-A'raf:٩٦96،, وَالتَّوْبَةَand At-Tawbah:۸۲82،, ٩٥95وَيُونُسَand Yunus:٨8،, وَيَسَand Ya'Sin:٦٥65،, وَفُصِّلَتْand Fussilat:۱۷17،, وَالْجَاثِيَةَand Al-Jathiyah:١٤14.. (٣)(3)
(2) And see also Al-A'raf: 96, At-Tawbah: 82, 95, Yunus: 8, Ya'Sin: 65, Fussilat: 17, and Al-Jathiyah: 14.
وَرَدَتْThe verse wasالْآيَةُthe verseفِيinجَمِيعِallالنُّسَخِcopiesخَطَأٌincorrectذَٰلِكَthatبِأَنَّهُمْbecause theyكَفَرُواdisbelievedبِآيَاتِنَاin our verses))),, فَأَثْبَتُواSo they confirmedفِيinطِthe chapterقَوْلِهِhis sayingتَعَالَى:the Exalted said:﴿[ذَٰلِكَThatبِأَنَّهُمْis because theyكَانُواthey used toيَكْفُرُونَdisbelieveبِعَايَاتِ اللَّهِin the signs of Allah﴾][[الْبَقَرَةِ:Al-Baqarah:٦١61،, وَآلِand Al-عِمْرَانَ:Imran:٣۲32.. [[١١٢112]]
The verse was in all copies incorrect that because they disbelieved in our verses)) so they confirmed in the chapter: his saying: "That is because they used to disbelieve in the signs of Allah" (Al-Baqarah 61, and Al-Imran 32).
