الْمُتَأَخِّرِينَthe later onesمُوَافِقاًagreeingلِلشَّيْخِwith the SheikhابْنِIbnالْعَرَبِيِّ،Al-Arabi,
the later ones, agreeing with Sheikh Ibn Al-Arabi,
وَعَدَدُهَاand their numberقُرَابَةُis aboutعِشْرِينَtwentyآيَةً،verse,
and their number is about twenty verses,
وَلِلْمُؤَلِّفِand for the authorفِيinأَكْثَرِهَاmost of themنَظَرٌ.is a view/critique.
and the author has a critique regarding most of them.
فَلْنُورِدْso let us presentكَلاَمَهُhis speechمَعَwithالتَّعْقِيبِ.the commentary.
So let us present his words along with the commentary.
الْآيَاتُThe versesالْمَنْسُوخَةُabrogatedعِنْدَaccording toالسُّيُوطِيِّAl-Suyutiوَتَعْقُبَاتُand the critiques ofالْمُؤَلِّفِthe author
The abrogated verses according to Al-Suyuti and the author's critiques
(فَالْآيَاتُ(So the versesالَّتِيwhichذَكَرَهَاmentioned themالسُّيُوطِيُّAl-Suyutiوَابْنُand IbnالْعَرَبِيِّAl-Arabiهِيَareكَمَاasتَلِي)follows):
(The verses mentioned by Al-Suyuti and Ibn Al-Arabi are as follows):
١1-_- آيَةُVerse ofالْوَصِيَّةِthe bequestلِلْوَارِثِ:for the heir:
1 - The verse of the bequest for the heir:
فَمِنَSo fromالْبَقَرَةِ،Al-Baqarah,قَوْلُهُis His saying-_- تَعَالَىExalted is He-:-:
So from Al-Baqarah is His saying - Exalted is He -:
{كُتِبَ{It is prescribedعَلَيْكُمْupon youإِذَاwhenحَضَرَis presentأَحَدَكُمُone of youالْمَوْتُ}death}الْآيَةُ،the verse,
{When death approaches any of you} the verse,
مَنْسُوخَةٌ،is abrogated,قَبْلَbeforeبِآيَةِthe verse ofالْمَوَارِيثِ،inheritance,
is abrogated, prior to the verse of inheritance,
وَقِيلَ:and it was said:بِحَدِيثِby the hadithلَاthere is noوَصِيَّةَbequestلِوَارِثٍ،for an heir,
and it was said: by the hadith 'There is no bequest for an heir',
وَقِيلَand it was saidبِالْإِجْمَاعِ،by consensus,حَكَاهُrelated itابْنُIbnالْعَرَبِيِّ.Al-Arabi.
and it was said by consensus, which Ibn Al-Arabi related.
قُلْتُ:I say:بَلْratherهِيَit isمَنْسُوخَةٌabrogatedبِآيَةِby the verse
I say: Rather, it is abrogated by the verse
{يُوصِيكُمُ{Allah instructs youاللَّهُAllahفِيconcerningأَوْلَادِكُمْ}your children}إِلَخْetc.
{Allah instructs you concerning your children} etc.
وَحَدِيثُAnd the hadith"لَا'There is noوَصِيَّةَbequestلِوَارِثٍ"for an heir'مُبَيِّنٌis clarifyingلِلْنَّسْخِ.for the abrogation.
And the hadith 'There is no bequest for an heir' is a clarification of the abrogation.
٢2-_- آيَةُVerse ofالْفِدْيَةِthe ransomلِمَنْfor whoeverأَطَاقَis ableالصَّوْمَto fast
2 - The verse of the ransom for whoever is able to fast
وَقَوْلُهُAnd His saying-_- تَعَالَىExalted is He-:-:
And His saying - Exalted is He -:
{وَعَلَى{And uponالَّذِينَthose whoيُطِيقُونَهُare able to do itفِدْيَةٌis a ransomطَعَامُfeedingمِسْكِينٍ}of a needy person}
{And upon those who are able to do it is a ransom [as] the feeding of a poor person}
قِيلَIt was saidمَنْسُوخَةٌit is abrogatedبِقَوْلِهِ:by His saying:
It was said it is abrogated by His saying:
{فَمَنْ{So whoeverشَهِدَwitnessesمِنْكُمُamong youالشَّهْرَthe monthفَلْيَصُمْهُ}then let him fast it}
{So whoever of you sights [the crescent of] the month, let him fast it}
وَقِيلَ:and it was said:مُحْكَمَةٌ،it is decisive,وَ"لَا"and 'not'مُقَدَّرَةٌis implied
and it was said: it is decisive, and 'not' is implied
(قَبْلَ(before"يُطِيقُونَ"،'they are able', perceptiveأَيْmeaningلَاnotيُطِيقُونَ).they are able).
(before 'they are able', meaning they are not able).
قُلْتُ:I say:عِنْدِيin my viewوَجْهٌis anotherآخَرُ،aspect,وَهُوَ:and it is:
I say: In my view there is another aspect, and it is:
أَنَّthatالْمَعْنَى:the meaning is:وَعَلَىAnd uponالَّذِينَthose whoيُطِيقُونَare ableالطَّعَامَfor the foodفِدْيَةٌ،is a ransom,
That the meaning is: And upon those who are able to provide food is a ransom,
هِيَit isطَعَامُthe feeding ofمِسْكِينٍ،a needy person,فَأُضْمِرَso it was omitted/impliedقَبْلَbeforeالذِّكْرِ،mention,
it is the feeding of a needy person, so [the object] was omitted before its mention,
