  • or a plural in place of a singular or the reverse

  • أَوْorأُسْلُوبُthe style ofالْغَيْبَةِabsenceمَكَانَin place ofأُسْلُوبِthe style ofالْخِطَابِ.address.
  • or the style of third-person absence in place of the style of direct address.

  • - وَأَحْيَاناً- and sometimesلِتَقْدِيمِfor the preposing ofمَاthat whichحَقُّهُits right isالتَّأْخِيرُpostponement

    وَالْمَجَازِAnd figurative speechالْعَقْلِيِّ.rational.

    And rational figurative speech.

    فَيَنْبَغِيSo it is fittingلِلْإِخْوَةِfor the brothersالسُّلَعَدَاءِfortunateأَنْthatيَطَّلِعُواthey become acquaintedعَلَىwithحَقِيقَةِthe reality ofهَذِهِtheseالْأُمُورِmatters

    So it is fitting for the fortunate brothers to become acquainted with the reality of these matters

    وَبَعْضِand someأَمْثِلَتِهَاof their examplesفِيatمَبْدَأِthe beginning ofالْبَحْثِ،the discussion,

    and some of their examples at the beginning of the discussion,

    وَيَكْتَفُواand that they suffice themselvesبِالرُّمُوزِwith symbolsوَالْإِشَارَاتِand indicationsفِيinمَوَاضِعِthe places ofالتَّفْصِيلِ.elaboration.

    and suffice themselves with symbols and indications in the places of elaboration.
