وَمِثَالُAnd the exampleذَلِكَof thatكَمَاasقَالَsaidبَعْضُsomeالْحُكَمَاءِof the wise menالْعَارِفِينَ:the knowers:
And the example of that, as some of the knowledgeable wise men said:
"يَوْمَ"The dayأَنْthatبَدَأَstartedالنَّاسُthe peopleيَحْكُمُونَgoverning/masteringقَوَاعِدَthe rulesالتَّجْوِيدِof Tajweedوَيُصَحِّحُونَand correctingالْحُرُوفَthe lettersحُرِمُواthey were deprivedالتِّلَاوَةَof the recitationالْخَاشِعَةَreverentلِلْقُرْآنِof the Quranالْكَرِيمِ،the noble,
"The day people began to master the rules of Tajweed and correct the letters, they were deprived of the reverent recitation of the Noble Quran,
وَمِنْand fromيَوْمِthe dayأَنْthatبَدَأَbeganالْمُفَسِّرُونَthe commentatorsيَشُقُّونَsplittingالشَّعْرَةَthe hairفِيinالتَّأْوِيلِinterpretationوَالتَّوْجِيهِand orientationأَصْبَحَbecame"عِلْمُ"The scienceالتَّفْسِيرِ"of Tafsir"غَرِيباًstrangeقَلِيلَlittleالْوُجُودِ".in existence".
and from the day commentators began splitting hairs in interpretation and guidance, 'the science of Tafsir' became strange and scarce."

[The phenomenon of repetition in Quranic stories:]
وَالْقَصَصُAnd the storiesالَّتِيthatجَاءَتْcameفِيinالْقُرْآنِthe Quranمَرَّاتٍtimesوَكَرَّاتٍ،and repetitions,
And the stories that came in the Quran repeatedly,
هِيَareقِصَّةُthe storyخَلْقِof the creationآدَمَof Adamمِنَfromالطِّينِ،clay,
are the story of the creation of Adam from clay,
وَسُجُودُand the prostrationالْمَلَائِكَةِof the angelsلَهُ،to him,
the prostration of the angels to him,
وَاسْتِكْبَارُthe arroganceالشَّيْطَانِof Satanعَنْهُ،towards him,
Satan's arrogance toward him,
وَلَعْنُهُhis cursingوَطَرْدُهُand his expulsionلِأَجْلِهِ،for that reason,
his being cursed and expelled for that reason,
وَسَعْيُهُand his strivingمِنْfromذَاكَthatفِيinإِغْوَاءِmisleadingبَنِيchildrenآدَمَof Adamوَإِضْلَالِهِمْand leading them astray
and his striving from then on to seduce the children of Adam and lead them astray,
وَقَصَصُand the stories ofمُحَاجَّةِcontendingنُوحٍ،of Noah,وَهُودٍ،Hud,وَصَالِحٍ،Salih,إِبْرَاهِيمَAbraham,وَلُوطٍLot,وَشُعَيْبٍand Shu'aibمَعَwithشُعُوبِهِمْtheir peoplesوَأَقْوَامِهِمْand nationsفِيinتَوْحِيدِthe monotheismاللَّهِof Allah--تَعَالَىthe Most High--وَالْأَمْرِand commandingبِالْمَعْرُوفِrightوَالنَّهْيِand forbiddingعَنِfromالْمُنْكَرِwrong
and the stories of the contention of Noah, Hud, Salih, Abraham, Lot, and Shu'aib with their peoples and nations regarding the monotheism of Allah - Exalted is He - commanding good and forbidding evil,
وَاسْتِكْبَارِهَاand their arroganceوَطُغْيَانِهَاand tyrannyوَإِدْلَائِهَاand presentingبِشُبَهَاتٍwith suspicionsرَكِيكَةٍflimsyوَرُدُودِand the responsesالْأَنْبِيَاءِof the prophets--عَلَيْهِمُupon themالصَّلَوَاتُbe prayersالتَّسْلِيمَاتُand peace--عَلَيْهَاto it
their arrogance and tyranny, their presentation of flimsy doubts, the responses of the prophets - peace and blessings be upon them - to them,
وَنُزُولِand the descentعَذَابِof the punishmentاللَّهِof Allah--تَعَالَىthe Most High--وَنِقَمِهِand His wrathعَلَىuponالْأَشْقِيَاءِthe wretchedوَظُهُورِand the appearanceنُصْرَةِof the victoryاللَّهِof Allah--تَعَالَىthe Most High--وَتَأْيِيدِهِand His supportفِيinحَقِّfavor ofالْأَنْبِيَاءِthe prophetsوَالْأَتْبَاعِ،and the followers,
and the descent of the punishment and wrath of Allah - Exalted is He - upon the wretched, and the appearance of the victory and support of Allah - Exalted is He - for the prophets and followers,
وَقَصَصُand the stories ofسَيِّدِنَاour masterمُوسَىMoses--عَلَيْهِupon himالسَّلَامُbe peace--مَعَwithفِرْعَوْنَPharaohوَمَلَإِهِ،and his chiefs,وَسُفَهَاءِand the foolish onesبَنِيof the childrenإِسْرَائِيلَ،of Israel,وَمُكَابَرَتِهِمْand their stubbornnessلَهُ،to him,
and the stories of our master Moses - peace be upon him - with Pharaoh and his chiefs, the foolish ones of the Children of Israel, and their stubbornness towards him,
وَعِقَابِand the punishmentاللَّهِof Allah--تَعَالَىthe Most High--لِأُولَئِكَfor thoseالتَّعُسَاءِwretched onesوَتَرْكِهِمْand leaving themيَتِيهُونَwanderingفِيinالْأَرْضِ،the earth,
and the punishment of Allah - Exalted is He - for those wretched ones and leaving them wandering in the earth,
وَظُهُورِand the appearanceتَأْيِيدَاتِof supportsاللَّهِof Allah--تَعَالَىthe Most High--مُتَتَالِيَةًsuccessiveلِنَجِيِّهِfor His confidantوَكَلِيمِهِand His interlocutor--عَلَيْهِupon himالسَّلَامُ.be peace.
and the appearance of successive supports from Allah - Exalted is He - for His confidant and interlocutor - peace be upon him.
