فِيInبَقِيَّةِthe rest ofالْعُلُومِthe sciencesالْخَمْسَةِthe five
In the rest of the five sciences
وُضُوحُClarity ofالْقُرْآنِthe Quranالْكَرِيمِthe Nobleفِيinبَيَانِexplainingالصِّفَاتِ:the attributes:
The clarity of the Noble Quran in explaining the attributes:
مِنَFromالْمَعْلُومِthe knownأَنَّthatنُزُولَthe revelation ofالْقُرْآنِthe Quranالْكَرِيمِthe Noble
It is known that the revelation of the Noble Quran
إِنَّمَاwas onlyكَانَtoإِصْلَاحِreformالنُّفُوسِthe soulsالْبَشَرِيَّةِ،human,
was solely for the reform of human souls,
وَتَهْذِيبِand discipline ofمَعَاشِرِgroups ofالنَّاسِpeopleسَوَاءٌwhetherكَانُواthey wereعَرَبًاArabsأَوْorعَجَمًا،non-Arabs,
and the discipline of masses of people whether they were Arabs or non-Arabs,
بَدْوًاbedouinsأَوْorحَضَرًا،city-dwellers,
bedouins or city-dwellers,
وَلِذَلِكَand thereforeاقْتَضَتِrequiredالْحِكْمَةُthe wisdomالْإِلَهِيَّةُdivine
and therefore divine wisdom required
أَنْthatلَاit notيُخَاطِبَaddressالنَّاسَthe peopleفِيinالتَّذْكِيرِ"the remindingبِآلَاءِof the bounties ofاللَّهِ"God"
that it not address people in "reminding them of the bounties of God"
إِلَّاexceptمَاwhatتَسَعُهُencompassesمَعْلُومَاتُهُمْ،their knowledge,
except what their knowledge encompasses,
وَتُحِيطُand encompassesبِهِitمَدَارِكُهُمْ،their perceptions,
and their perceptions encompass,
وَأَنْand thatلَاit notيَخُوضَdelveفِيintoالْبُحُوثِthe researchesالدَّقِيقَةِprecise
and that it not delve into precise researches
وَالتَّحْقِيقَاتِand investigationsالنَّادِرَةِ،rare,
and rare investigations,
فَقَدْfor indeedتَعَرَّضَaddressedالْقُرْآنُthe Quranالْكَرِيمُthe Noble
for the Noble Quran addressed
لِلْأَسْمَاءِthe namesوَالصِّفَاتِand attributesالْإِلَهِيَّةِdivine
divine names and attributes
بِطَرِيقَةٍin a wayوَاضِحَةٍclearسَهْلَةٍ،easy,
in a clear, easy way,
يُدْرِكُهَاcomprehends itجَمِيعُallأَفْرَادِindividuals ofالْبَشَرِmankindبِفِطْرَتِهِمْ،by their innate nature,
which all individuals of mankind comprehend by their innate nature,
وَبِمَدَارِكِهِمُand by their perceptionsالَّتِيthatأُودِعَتْwere depositedفِيinأَصْلِorigin ofخَلْقِهِمْtheir creation
and by their perceptions that were deposited in the origin of their creation
مِنْwithoutدُونِneedحَاجَةٍforإِلَىpracticingمُمَارَسَةِdivineالْفَلْسَفَةِphilosophy,الْإِلَهِيَّةِ،divine
without need for practicing divine philosophy,
أَوْorعِلْمِscience ofالْإِلَهِيَّاتِdivinityوَعِلْمِand science ofالْكَلَامِ.theology.
or the science of divinity and the science of theology.
[إِثْبَاتِ[Provingالْخَالِقِthe Creatorفِيinالْقُرْآنِ:]the Quran:]
[Proving the Creator in the Quran:]
فَأَثْبَتَSo provedالْقُرْآنُthe Quranمَثَلًاfor exampleوُجُودَthe existence ofالْخَالِقِthe Creatorإِجْمَالًا،generally,
So the Quran proved - for example - the existence of the Creator generally,
إِذْsinceأَنَّthatعِلْمَهُknowledge of Himمَرْكُوزٌis firmly rootedفِيinفِطْرَةِnature ofبَنِيsons ofآدَمَ،Adam,
since knowledge of Him is firmly rooted in the nature of the sons of Adam,
وَيَتَسَاوَىand is equalفِيهِin itجَمِيعُallأَفْرَادِهِمْtheir individuals
and all their individuals are equal in it,
وَلَاand you do notتَجِدُfindطَائِفَةًa sectمِنَofالنَّاسِpeopleفِيinالْمَنَاطِقِregionsالْمُعْتَدِلَةِtemperate
and you do not find a sect of people in temperate regions
أَوْorالْقَرِيبَةِcloseمِنْهَاto itتُنْكِرُdenyingهَذَاthisالْعِلْمَ،knowledge,
or close to it denying this knowledge,
وَتَسْتَغْرِبُand finding strangeوُجُودَthe existence ofالْخَالِقِ!the Creator!
and finding the existence of the Creator strange!
