تُسَاعِدُهُمhelp themالجَمِيعُeveryone
It helps them. Everyone.
فَقَدْhasكَانَwasمَعْرُوفًاknownفِيinعَهْدِthe era«جُونْز»"Jones"بِقُوَّةِby the strengthالاِحْتِمَالِ،of endurance,
He was known in the era of "Jones" for his strength of endurance.
وَبِذَٰلِكَThusفَقَدْhe hasكَانَwasيَعْمَلُworkingبِقُوَّةِwith the strengthثَلاَثَةِof threeخَيْولٍhorsesحَتَّىso much so thatأَنَّهُthat heفِيinبَعْضٍsomeالأَيَّامِ،days,
Thus, he was working with the strength of three horses so much so that in some days,
كَانَhe wasيَبْدُوseemedأَنَّthatكُلَّallعَمَلِthe workالْمَزْرَعَةِof the farmمُلْقًىwas placedعَلَىonرَقَبَتِهِhis strong neck.
it seemed that all the work of the farm was placed on his strong neck.
مُنذُSinceالصَّبَاحِthe morningوَحَتَّىand untilحُلُولِthe arrival ofاللَّيْلِnightوَهُوَand heيَدْفَعُ،pushes,وَيَجُرُّ،and pulls,وَهُوَand heدَائِمٌalwaysالْحُضُورِpresentفِيinأَقْسَىthe harshestلَّحْظَاتِmomentsالْعَمَلِ.of work.
Since the morning until the arrival of night he is constantly pushing and pulling; he is always present in the harshest moments of work.
فَقَدْHe hasاتَّفَقَagreedمَعَwithدِيَكٍa young roosterشَابٍyoungكَيْtoيُوقِظَهُwake him upنِصْفَhalfسَاعَةٍan hourقَبْلَbeforeالْآخَرِينَ،the others,
He agreed with a young rooster to wake him up half an hour before the others,
وَبِاسْتِبَاقٍAnd by pre-emptingزَمَنِtimeيَوْمِthe dayرَئِيسِهِof his masterالْمُبَاشِرِdirectوَخُطَّةٍand the planعَمَلِهِhis workيَكُونُhe can beقَدْhaveتَطَوَّعَvolunteeredلِلْأَعْمَالِfor urgent tasks.
and by pre-empting the time of his direct master and his work plan he could have volunteered for urgent tasks.
وَأَمَامَAnd in front ofكُلِّeveryمُشْكِلَةٍproblemوَكُلِّand everyسُؤَالٍmiseryكَانَhe putيَضَعُhis wisdom:سَأَعْمَلُI will workبِجِدٍّharder.
And in front of every problem and every misery, he put his wisdom: 'I will work harder.'
هَذِهِThisعَمَلَتُهُis his way.
This is his way.
هِيَSheدَائِمًاalwaysعَلَىonإِيجَادِfindingالْحَلِّthe solutionكَانَتْwas«بُوكْسَر»"Boxer"مَحَطَّةَthe objectإِعْجَابٍof admiration
She was always on finding the solution; "Boxer" was the object of admiration.
لَكِنَّButكُلَّeveryoneوَاحِدٍoneكَانَwasيَعْمَلُworkingحَسَبَaccording toطَاقَتِهِ.his strength.
But everyone was working according to his strength.
هَكَذَاThusكَانَتْwasالدَّجَاجُthe chickensوَطِيرَاتُand the birdsالْكُنَارَىcanariesيَجْمَعُونَwere picking upعَشَرَtenصُرُرٍsacksمِنْofالْحَبِّgrainالمُبَعْثَرَةِscatteredهُنَاhereوَهُنَاكَ.and there.
Thus, the chickens and canaries were picking up ten sacks of scattered grain here and there.
وَلَاAnd noأَحَدٌoneيَسْرِقُstoleأَوْorيَتَذَمَّرُcomplaining.مِنْfromطَعَامِهِhis food:فَكُلُّFor everyعِرَاكٍfightأَوْorخِصَامٍquarrelعَابِرٍtransientأَوْorمِزَاجٍmoodنَافِرٍfoulمِمَّاfrom that whichكَانَwasفِيinالمَاضِيthe pastعُمْلَةٍcurrencyرَائِجَةٍ،in circulation,لَمْdid notيَزَلْcontinueلَهُfor itالْيَوْمَtodayمَكَانًا.a place.
And no one stole or complained from his food: for every fight or transient quarrel or foul mood from that which was in the past was not continued for it today.
لَمْDid notيَزَلْcontinueأَحَدٌanyoneيَتَّكِسِلُ،lazily,تَقْرِيبًاalmostلَاnoأَحَدٌone.
Did not anyone continue lazily? Almost no one.
لَمْnotتَكُنْbeمُولِيMollyتَسْتَيْقِظُwake upبَاكِرًا،early,لِنَعْتَرِفَlet's admitبِذَٰلِكَ،that,كَمَاasأَنَّهَاsheلَاnotتُخْفِيhidesمِيلَاهَاher tendencesإِلَىto watchالانْصِرَافِleaveمِنْfromمَوْقِعِthe siteالْعَمَلِof work
Molly did not wake up early, let's admit that, as she does not hide her tendencies to leave from the site of work.
وَتَتَذَرَّعُAnd she excuses herselfبِأَنْthat aحَصَاةٍstoneفِيinالْحَافِرِthe hoofتُزْعِجُهَا.bothers her.
And she excuses herself by claiming that a stone in the hoof bothers her.
كَمَاAsأَنَّthatتَصَرُّفَthe behaviorالْقِطَّةِthe catغَرِيبٌstrangeشَيْئًاsomethingمَّاwhatتَمَّwasالاِنْتِبَاهُnoticedبِسُرْعَةٍquicklyإِلَىtoأَنَّهَاsheتَكُونُisغَائِبَةًabsentحِينَwhenيَقْتَضِيrequiresالْعَمَلُthe workحُضُورَهَاher presenceتَخْتَفِيdisappearsطِيلَةَfor entireسَاعَاتٍhoursمُتَتَابِعَةٍconsecutiveوَتَظْهَرُand appearsفِيatمَوْعِدِthe mealالْوَجَبَاتِthe mealsأَوْorفِيatاللَّيْلِnightعِنْدَمَاwhenيَنْتَهِيendsالْعَمَلُ،the work,كَمَاasلَوْifأَنَّthatشَيْئًاsomethingلَمْdid notيَحْدُثُ.happen.
As for the cat, its behavior is strange; it was quickly noticed that she would be absent when the work requires her presence, disappearing for entire hours and appears at meal times or at night when the work ends, as if nothing happened.
لَكِنَّهَاBut sheكَانَتْwasتَعْثُرُmanage toعَلَىonثُغْرَةٍa gapمِثْلَlikeالَّتِيthat whichتَسْمَحُallowsلَهَاfor herلِلْخُرُوجِto go outعِندَمَاwhenتَنْتَهِيis doneالأَعْمَالُ،the work,
But she managed to find a gap like that which allows her to go out when the work is done,
الَّتِيthat whichتَسْمَحُallowsلَهَاfor herلِلذَّهَابِto goلِاسْتِكَشَافِto exploreالْعَالَمِ.the world.
that which allows her to go out to explore the world.
