Happiness, when it overwhelms him with suffering, or slavery, is for freedom. This is the simple truth.

No, companions, a thousand times no, the land of England is fertile and its climate is suitable. It is possible to nourish a number of animals abundantly more than those who live here.

This farm alone can meet the needs of a dozen horses, twenty cows, and a hundred sheep; all of them can live in the luxury of a dignified life.

The problem is that we are not able to imagine something like this, but since this is the sad truth, why are we always inactive in a situation that provokes pity?

Because the human being steals all or most of the product of our work, comrades, here lies the answer to our problems: everything is based on one word: human because humans alone are our true enemy. Let us work on its removal, and thus we eradicate the root of evil, because whenever we work hard and without interruption, we live in extreme poverty.

The human being is the only creature that consumes without producing. He does not give milk, nor lays eggs, and he is so weak that he cannot push the cart, and slow that he cannot catch a rabbit. Yet he is the master of all animals. He distributes the work among them, but he does not give it in return except for a poor daily sustenance.
