لَقَدْI haveنَشَرْتُspreadشَائِعَاتٍrumorsلِمُدَةٍfor a long timeوَإِنَّهُand he hasمَاwhatيُوَجِّهُهُmakes him believe that
I have spread rumors for a long time and he has what makes him believe that
الَّذِيthatنَشَرَهَاpublished itهُوَheعَدُوٌّenemyمُتَوَحِّشٌsavageوَكَانَand wasوَعِندَهُand he hasوَزُمَلَائُهُand his colleaguesنَظْرَةًviewهَدامَةًdestructiveبَلْratherحَتَّىevenثَوْرِيَّةًrevolutionary
that published it is an enemy, savage, and he and his colleagues have a destructive, rather even revolutionary view
لَقَدْThey haveلَصَقَتْattachedبِهِمْto themالتُّهْمَةَthe accusationفِيinمُحَاوَلَةٍan attemptتَحْرِيضِto inciteالْعِصْيَانِthe rebellionبَيْنَamongالْحَيَوَانَاتِthe animalsفِيinالمَزَارِعِthe farmsالْمُجَاوِرَةِneighboring
They have been accused of attempting to incite rebellion among the animals in the neighboring farms.
وَلَيْسَAnd notهُنَاكَthereأَبْعَدَfurtherمِنْthanذَلِكَthatعَنْfromالْحَقِيقَةِtruth
And there is nothing further from the truth than that.
فَأَمَنِيَّتُهُمْAnd their wishالْوَحِيدَةُthe onlyالْآنَnowوَفِيand inالْمَاضِيthe pastهِيَisالْعَيْشُto liveفِيinسَلَامٍpeaceمَعَwithعَلَاقَاتٍrelationsعَمَلٍworkطَبِيعِيَّةٍnormalمَعَwithجِيرَانِهِمْtheir neighbors
And their only wish now and in the past is to live in peace with normal working relations with their neighbors.
وَأَرْدَفَAnd he addedقَائِلاًsayingأَنَّthatهَذِهِthisالْمَزْرَعَةُfarmالَّتِيthatيَتَشَرَّفُhe is honoredبِقِيَادَتِهَاto lead itهِيَit isمَشْرُوعٌa projectتَعَاوُنِيٌّcooperativeوَصُكُوكٌand the deedsالتَّمْلِيكِof ownershipالَّتِيthatبِحَوْزَتِهِhe holds
And he added saying that this farm which he is honored to lead is a cooperative project and the deeds of ownership that he holds
هِيَit isمَاwhatمَلَكَتْownedمُجْتَمَعَهُhis community
It is what his community owns.
وَقَالَAnd he saidإِنَّهُthat heلَاdoes notيَعْتَقِدُbelieveأَنَّthatالشُّكُوكَthe doubtsالْقَدِيمَةَoldلَاare notزَالَتْgoneقَائِمَةًexisting
And he said that he does not believe that the old doubts are still existing.
لَكِنْButبَعْضُsomeالتَّغْيِيرَاتِchangesطَرَأَتْhave occurredأَخِيرًاrecentlyعَلَىto theرُوتِينَroutineالْمَزْرَعَةِof the farmمِمَّاwhichسَيُعَزِّزُwill enhanceالثِّقَةَthe trustأَكْثَرَmoreوَأَكْثَرَand moreوَحَتَّىand evenالْآنَnow
But some changes have occurred recently in the routine of the farm, which will enhance the trust more and more, and even now
فَالحَيَوَانَاتُthe animalsفِيinالْمَزْرَعَةِthe farmمَازَالَتْstillمُعْتَادَةًusedعَلَىtoمُخَاطَبَةِaddressingبَعْضِهَاeach otherبِعِبَارَةِwith the phrase«رَفِيقٌ»'comrade'
the animals in the farm are still used to addressing each other with the phrase 'comrade'.
وَهَذَاAnd thisيَجِبُmustقَمْعُهُsuppress itكَذَلِكَalsoهُنَاكَthereعَادَةٌa habitغَرِيبَةٌstrangeلَاnotيَعْرِفُknowsأَصْلَهَاits originوَهِيَand it isمَسِيرَةٌa marchكُلِّeveryصَبَاحَmorningيَوْمِSundayأَحَدٍof oneوَالْمُرُورِand passingعَلَىonجُمَجْمَةٍa skullخِنزِيرٍpigمُثَبَّتَةٍnailedبِمَسَامِيرَwith nailsعَلَىtoعَامُودٍa poleفِيinالْحَدِيقَةِthe gardenوَهَذِهِAnd thisسَتُقْمَعُwill be suppressedكَذَلِكَalsoأَمَّاAs forالْجُمَجْمَةُthe skullفَقَدْhasتَمَّbeenدَفْنُهَاburiedوَلَعَلَّand perhapsزُوَّارَهَاhis visitorsقَدْmayشَاهَدُواhave seenكَذَلِكَalsoالْعَلَمَthe flagالأَخْضَرَgreenالَّذِيthatيَرْفُرُفُis flappingفَوْقَaboveقِمَّةَthe topالسَّارِيَةِof the mastفَلَعَلَّهُمْand perhaps theyلَوْifشَاهَدُوهَاthey see itفِعْلًاactuallyقَدْmayلاَحَظُواhave noticedأَنَّthatالْحَافِرَthe hoofوَالْقَرْنَand the hornالْمَوْجُودَيْنِpresentسَابِقًاpreviouslyقَدْhaveأُزِيلَتْbeen removedالْآنَnow

وَسَيَكُونُand it will beالْعَلَمُthe flagمِنْfromالْآنَnowفَصَاعِدًاonwardبِاللَّوْنِwith the colorالأَخْضَرِgreenفَقَطonly
And it will be just a green flag from now onward.
وَقَالَAnd he saidإِنَّهُthat heلَدَيْهِhasانتقادًاcriticismsوَحِيدًاonlyعَلَىonالْكَلِمَةِthe wordالْوَدِيَّةِfriendlyالْمُمْتَازَةِexcellentالَّتِيthatأَلْقَاهَاhe deliveredالسَّيِّدُMr.بِلِينغْتُونَBillingtonوَأَشَارَand pointedخِلَالَهَاduring itإِلَىtoمَزْرَعَةٍthe farm
And he said that he has only one criticism of the excellent friendly word that Mr. Billington delivered during it to the farm.
