لَقَدْIndeedقَذَفَتْwas thrownبِهَاby itقُوَّةthe forceالانْفِجَارِof the explosionعَلَىtoبَعْدَa distanceمِئَاتِof hundredsالأَمْتَارِof meters
Indeed, it was thrown by the force of the explosion to a distance of hundreds of meters.
فَبَدَاAnd it seemedالْمَشْهَدُthe sceneكَمَاas ifلَوْifأَنْthatالطَّاحُونَةُthe millلَمْdid notتُوجَدْexistقَطٌّat all
And it seemed as if the mill did not exist at all.
وَعِنْدَمَاAnd whenاقْتَرَبْتُI approachedمِنْfromالْمَزْرَعَةِthe farmظَهَرَappearedسْكُويلَرSquealerالَّذِيwhoلَمْdid notيَكُنْwasلِاخْتِفَائِهِfor his disappearanceأَثْنَاءَduringالْمُعَارَكَةِthe battleأَيُّanyتَفْسِيرٍexplanationوَقَفَHe stoodأَمَامَin front ofالْحَيَوَانَاتِthe animalsوَهُوَand heيَنْطُjumpsوَيُحَرِّكُand wagsذَيْلَهُhis tailبِسَعَادَةٍhappily
And when I approached the farm, Squealer appeared, who had no explanation for his disappearance during the battle. He stood in front of the animals, jumping and wagging his tail happily.
ثُمَّThenسَمِعْتُI heardمِنْfromجِهَةِthe directionبِنَايَاتِof buildingsالمَزْرَعَةِthe farmصَوْتَthe soundطَلَقَةٌgunfireنَارِيَّةٌshotاِحْتِفَالًاCelebratingبِالنَّصْرِthe victory
Then I heard from the direction of the buildings of the farm, the sound of gunfire celebrating the victory.
سَأَلَaskedبُوكْسَرBoxerمَاWhatهَذِهِis thisالطَّلَقَةُshotالنَّارِيَّةُgunfire
Boxer asked: "What is this gunfire?"
لِلاِحْتِفَالِFor celebratingبِالنَّصْرِthe victoryالَّذِيthatأَحْرَزْنَاهُwe achieved
"For celebrating the victory that we achieved," he replied.
أَيُّAnyنَصْرٍvictoryسَأَلَaskedبُوكْسَرBoxer,,وَقَائِمَتَاهُand his legsتَنْزِفَانِare bleedingدَمًاbloodلَقَدْI haveفَقَدْlostحَدُوَةًa hoofوَانْشَطَرَتْand splitحَافِرُهُhis hoofوَأُصِيبَAnd injuredسَاقَهُhis legالخَلْفِيَّةِthe hindبِعَشَرَاتٍwith dozensالشَّظَايَاof shrapnel
"Any victory?" Boxer asked, "and his legs are bleeding blood. I have lost a hoof and my hoof is split. And his hind leg is injured with dozens of shrapnel."
أَيُّAnyنَصْرٍvictory؟},{أَيُّهَاOالأَصْدِقَاءُfriends?
"Any victory, friends?" asked Boxer again.
سَأَلَaskedسْكُويلَرSquealerمِنْfromجَدِيدٍagain.أَلَمْDid notنَطْرُدْwe drive outالْعَدُوَّthe enemyمِنْfromأَرْضِنَاour landأَرْضَLandمَزْرَعَةِof the farmالْحَيَوَانَاتِthe animals
"Did we not drive out the enemy from our land, the land of the animals?" asked Squealer again.
لَكِنَّهُمْBut theyدَمَّرُواdestroyedالطَّاحُونَةَthe millالَّتِيwhichاسْتَغْرَقَتْtookبِنَاؤُهَاits constructionسَنَتَيْنِtwo years
"But they destroyed the mill which took two years to build."
وَمَاذَاAnd whatبَعْدَafterسَنَبْنِيwe will buildواحِدَةًoneأُخْرَىotherسَنَبْنِيwe will buildسِتَّsixطَوَاحِينَmillsإِذَاifأَرَدْنَاwe wantأَيُّهَاOالرُّفِيقُcomradesإِنَّكَyouلَاdo notتُعْطِيgiveلِعَمَلِنَاto our workقِيمَتَهُits true valueالحَقيقَةِthe true
"And what then, we will build another one. We will build six mills if we want comrades. You do not give our work its true value."

"Then we have recovered what we had previously possessed," said Boxer.

"This is our victory," he replied Squealer.
دَخَلْتُI enteredالْحَيَوَانَاتِthe animalsوَهِيَwhile theyتَعرَجُlimpedكَانَتْThere wasسَاقٌa legبُوكْسَرBoxerتُؤَلِّمُهُhurt himبِسَبَبِbecause ofالرَّصاصَاتِthe bulletsالَّتِيthatاسْتَقَرَّتْsettledتَحْتَunderالْجِلْدِthe skin.
I entered the animals while they limped. There was a leg of Boxer that hurt him because of the bullets that settled under the skin.
