Numerous bullets rained upon them. When the animals narrowed the stranglehold on them, they fell upon them with beating, with their clubs and heavy shoes.

And they killed a cow, three sheep, and two geese while almost all the animals were injured.
وَحَتَّىAnd evenنَابُولِيُونَNapoleonالَّذِيwhoكَانَwasيَسِيرُwalkingالْمَعْرَكَةِthe battle..مِنْfromالْخَلْفِbehindأُصِيبَwas hitذَيْلُهُhis tailبِرَصَاصَةٍby a bullet..
And even Napoleon, who was walking from behind the battle, was hit in his tail by a bullet.

The animals chased the men until the end of the field.

And attacked them while they were fleeing across the fence.

The animals were victorious in the battle, but they were tired and covered in blood, so they returned to the farm while they limped.
وَقَدْAnd someبَكَىweptبَعْضُهَاsome of themعِنْدَمَاwhenشَاهَدُواsawمَنْظَرَthe sightجُثَثِof the corpsesرِفَاقِهَاof their companionsعَلَىonالْعُشْبِthe grass.
And some of them wept when they saw the sight of the corpses of their companions on the grass.
وَبَعْدَAnd afterلَحَظَاتٍa few moments،تَوَقَّفَتْstoppedوَهِيَand itمَكْرُوبَةٌsadأَمَامَin front ofالمَكَانِthe placeالَّذِيwhichكَانَتْwasتَنْتَصِبُstandingعَلَيْهِon itالطَّاحُونَةُthe mill
And after a few moments, it stopped sadly in front of the place which the mill was standing on.
