  • regarding the judgment

    So what makes you deny the judgment afterwards?

  • مُتَّصِلٌ
  • connected
  • بِقَوْلِهِ
  • to His saying
  • تَعَالَى
  • He is Exalted

    It is connected to His saying - Exalted is He -

  • لَقَدْ
  • certainly
  • خَلَقْنَا
  • We created
  • الْإِنْسَانَ
  • man
  • فِي
  • in
  • أَحْسَنِ
  • the best
  • تَقْوِيمٍ
  • form

    We have certainly created man in the best of stature.

  • يَدْعُو
  • he calls
  • لَمَنْ
  • the one whose
  • ضَرُّهُ
  • harm
  • أَقْرَبُ
  • is closer
  • مِنْ
  • than
  • نَفْعِهِ
  • his benefit

    He calls upon the one whose harm is closer than his benefit.

  • أَيْ
  • that is
  • يَدْعُو
  • he calls
  • مَنْ
  • the one who
  • ضَرُّهُ
  • his harm

    That is, he calls upon the one whose harm...

  • لَتَنُوءُ
  • it would burden heavily
  • بِالْعُصْبَةِ
  • a group
  • أُولِي
  • possessors of
  • الْقُوَّةِ
  • strength

    It would burden a group of possessors of great strength.

  • أَيْ
  • that is
  • لَتَنُوءُ
  • it would burden heavily
  • الْعُصْبَةُ
  • the group
  • بِهَا
  • with it

    That is, the group would be burdened by it.

  • وَامْسَحُوا
  • and wipe
  • بِرُءُوسِكُمْ
  • over your heads
  • وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ
  • and your feet

    And wipe over your heads and your feet.

  • أَيْ

  • اغْسِلُوا
  • wash
  • أَرْجُلَكُمْ
  • your feet

    That is, wash your feet.

  • وَلَوْلَا
  • and had it not been for
  • كَلِمَةٌ
  • a word
  • سَبَقَتْ
  • that preceded
  • مِنْ
  • from
  • رَبِّكَ
  • your Lord
  • لَكَانَ
  • it would have been
  • لِزَامًا
  • inevitable
  • وَأَجَلٌ
  • and a term
  • مُسَمًّى
  • specified

    And had not a word preceded from your Lord and a specified term, it would have been inevitable.

  • أَيْ
  • that is
  • وَلَوْلَا
  • and had it not been for
  • كَلِمَةٌ
  • a word
  • سَبَقَتْ
  • that preceded
  • وَأَجَلٌ
  • and a term
  • مُسَمًّى
  • specified
  • لَكَانَ
  • it would have been
  • لِزَامًا
  • inevitable

    That is, and had not a word preceded and a specified term, it would have been inevitable.

  • إِلَّا
  • if not
  • تَفْعَلُوهُ
  • you do it
  • تَكُنْ
  • there will be
  • فِتْنَةٌ
  • trials

    If you do not do it, there will be trials.

  • مُتَّصِلٌ
  • connected
  • بِقَوْلِهِ
  • to His saying
  • تَعَالَى
  • He is Exalted
  • فَعَلَيْكُمُ
  • then upon you is
  • النَّصْرُ
  • victory

    Connected to His saying - Exalted is He - "Then upon you is the victory".

  • إِلَّا

  • قَوْلَ

  • إِبْرَاهِيمَ
  • Abraham

    Except for the statement of Abraham.

  • حَسَنَةٌ

  • إِبْرَاهِيمَ
  • Abraham
  • الْآيَةُ
  • the verse

    Connected to His saying: "There has been for you an excellent example in Abraham", the verse.

  • يَسْأَلُونَكَ
  • they ask you
  • كَأَنَّكَ
  • as if you
  • حَفِيٌّ
  • are well-informed
  • عَنْهَا
  • about it

    They ask you as if you are familiar with it.

  • أَيْ
  • that is
  • يَسْئَلُونَكَ
  • they ask you
  • عَنْهَا
  • about it
  • كَأَنَّكَ
  • as if you
  • حَفِيٌّ
  • are well-informed

    That is, they ask you about it as if you were well-informed.

    الزِّيَادَةُ

    the addition

    الْكَلاَمِ

    The addition in speech:

    وَالزِّيَادَةُ

    and the addition

    عَلَى

    السَّنَنِ

    the course

    الطَّبِيعِيِّ

    الْمَعْرُوفِ

    أَيْضًا

    also

    تَنْقَسِمُ

    is divided

    إِلَى

    into

    عِدَّةِ

    several

    أَقْسَامٍ

    categories

    And the addition to the known natural course of speech is also divided into several categories.
