-وَمِنَ
and fromالْمُمْتَحَنَةِ
Al-Mumtahanah:
:20 - And from Al-Mumtahanah:
آيَةُ
the verseالْمُبَادَلَةِ
of exchangeبَيْنَ
betweenمُهُورِ
dowriesالْأَزْوَاجِ
of spouses:
:The verse of exchange between the dowries of spouses:
قَوْلُهُ
his saying-ُ
-تَعَالَى
the Exalted-َ
-:
:His saying - the Exalted -:
{فَآتُوا{so give
الَّذِينَthose who
ذَهَبَتْwent
أَزْوَاجُهُمْtheir wives
مِثْلَlike
مَاwhat
أَنْفَقُوا}they spent}
{So give those whose wives have departed the like of what they spent}
قِيلَ
it was said:
:مَنْسُوخٌ
abrogatedبِآيَةِ
by the verseالسَّيْفِ
of the sword،
,وَقِيلَ
and it was said:
:بِآيَةِ
by the verseالْغَنِيمَةِ
of the spoils.
.it was said: abrogated by the verse of the sword, and it was said: by the verse of the spoils.
وَقِيلَ
and it was said:
:مُحْكَمٌ
decisive.
.And it was said: decisive.
قُلْتُ
I say:
:الْأَظْهَرُ
the most apparentأَنَّهُ
is that itمُحْكَمٌ
is decisive،
,I say: The most apparent is that it is decisive,
وَلَكِنَّ
butالْحُكْمَ
the rulingفِي
is inالْهَادِنَةِ
the truceوَعِنْدَ
and at the time ofقُوَّةِ
strength ofالْكُفَّارِ
the disbelievers.
.but the ruling applies during truce and at the time of the disbelievers' strength.

12-ُ
-وَمِنَ
and fromالْمُزَّمِّلِ
Al-Muzzammil:
:12 - And from Al-Muzzammil:
آيَةُ
the verseالْأَمْرِ
of the commandبِقِيَامِ
for standingاللَّيْلِ
the night:
:The verse of the command for standing in prayer at night:
قَوْلُهُ
his saying-ُ
-تَعَالَى
the Exalted-َ

:His saying - the Exalted -:
{قُمِ{stand
اللَّيْلَthe night
إِلَّاexcept
قَلِيلًا}a little}
{Stand [to pray] all night, except for a little}
مَنْسُوخٌ
abrogatedبِآخِرِ
by the end ofالسُّورَةِ
the surah،
,ثُمَّ
thenنَسَخَ
abrogatedالْآخِرَ
the latterبِالصَّلَوَاتِ
by the prayersالْخَمْسِ
the five.
.abrogated by the end of the surah, then the latter was abrogated by the five prayers.
قُلْتُ
I say:
:دَعْوَى
the claimالنَّسْخِ
of abrogationبِالصَّلَوَاتِ
by the prayersالْخَمْسِ
the fiveغَيْرُ
is notمُتَّجِهَةٍ
soundبَلِ
ratherالْحَقُّ
the truthأَنَّ
is thatأَوَّلَ
the beginning ofالسُّورَةِ
the surahفِي
is inتَأْكِيدِ
emphasizingالنَّدْبِ
the recommendationإِلَى
towardsقِيَامِ
standing in prayerاللَّيْلِ
at nightوَآخِرَهَا
and its endنَسَخَ
abrogatedالتَّأْكِيدَ
the emphasisإِلَى
toمُجَرَّدِ
mereالنَّدْبِ
recommendation.
.I say: The claim of abrogation by the five prayers is unfounded; rather, the truth is that the beginning of the surah emphasizes the recommendation of night prayer, and its end abrogated the emphasis to mere recommendation.
قَالَ

Al-Suyutiمُوَافِقاً
agreeingلِابْنِ
with Ibnالْعَرَبِيِّ
Al-Arabi:
:Al-Suyuti said, agreeing with Ibn Al-Arabi:
فَهَذِهِ
so these areإِحْدَى
oneوَعِشْرُونَ
and twentyآيَةً
versesمَنْسُوخَةً
abrogatedعَلَى
uponخِلَافٍ
disagreementفِي
concerningبَعْضِهَا
some of them،
,وَلَا
and it is notيَصِحُّ
correctدَعْوَى
the claimالنَّسْخِ
of abrogationفِي
inغَيْرِهَا
others.
.So these are twenty-one abrogated verses, with disagreement regarding some of them, and the claim of abrogation in others is not correct.
وَالْأَصَحُّ
and the most correctفِي
regardingآيَةِ
the verseالْاسْتِئْذَانِ
of seeking permissionوَالْقِسْمَةِ
and division،
,الْإِحْكَامُ
is decisivenessوَعَدَمُ
and lack ofالنَّسْخِ
abrogation،
,فَصَارَتْ
so they becameتِسْعَةً
nineوَعِشْرِينَ
and twenty.
.And the most correct regarding the verse of seeking permission and division is decisiveness and lack of abrogation, so they became twenty-nine.
قُلْتُ
I say:
:مَا
whatحَرَّرْتُهُ
I verifiedلَا
does notيَتَعَيَّنُ
necessitateالنَّسْخُ
abrogationإِلَّا
exceptفِي
inخَمْسِ
fiveآيَاتٍ
verses.
.I say: What I have verified does not necessitate abrogation except in five verses.
