فِيInآيَاتِversesالْإِنْجِيلِof the GospelبِالنِّسْبَةِregardingلِعِيسَىJesus--عَلَيْهِupon himالسَّلَامُpeace
In the verses of the Gospel regarding Jesus - peace be upon him
إِذَاifسَلَّمْنَاwe acceptأَنَّthatمَاwhatنُقِلَwas transmittedفِيinالْإِنْجِيلِthe Gospelمِنْofمِثْلِsuchهَذِهِtheseالْآيَاتِverses
if we accept that what was transmitted in the Gospel of such verses
هِيَisمِنْfromكَلَامِthe speechعِيسَىof Jesus--عَلَيْهِupon himالسَّلَامُpeace--لَاnotمِنَfromالْإِضَافَاتِthe additionsوَالْإِلْحَاقَاتِand attachments
is from the speech of Jesus - peace be upon him - not from additions and attachments
أَنَّthatلَفْظَthe word"الْإِبْنِ""the Son"فِيinالْعَهْدِthe CovenantالْقَدِيمِOld
that the word "the Son" in the Old Testament
كَانَwasيُسْتَعْمَلُusedبِمَعْنَىin the meaning ofالْمُقَرَّبِthe closeوَالْمَحْبُوبِand the belovedوَالْمُخْتَارِand the chosen
was used in the meaning of the close, beloved, and chosen one
وَتَشْهَدُand testifyعَلَىtoهَذِهِthisالدَّعْوَىclaimدَلَائِلُevidencesوَقَرَائِنُand indicatorsكَثِيرَةٌmanyفِيinالْإِنْجِيلِthe Gospel
and many evidences and indicators in the Gospel testify to this claim
جَوَابُThe answer toالْإِشْكَالِthe objectionالثَّانِيsecond
The answer to the second objection:
وَجَوَابُAnd the answer toالْإِشْكَالِthe objectionالثَّانِيsecond--وَهُوَand it isنِسْبَةُattribution byسَيِّدِنَاour masterعِيسَىJesus--عَلَيْهِupon himالسَّلَامُpeace
And the answer to the second objection - which is our master Jesus - peace be upon him - attributing
بَعْضِsome ofأَفْعَالِthe actions ofاللَّهِGod--تَعَالَىExalted is Heإِلَىtoنَفْسِهِhimself
some of the actions of God - the Exalted - to himself
إِذَاifسَلَّمْنَاwe acceptصِحَّتَهَاits authenticityوَثُبُوتَand the establishment ofنَقْلِهَاits transmissionعَنْهُfrom him
if we accept its authenticity and the establishment of its transmission from him
أَنَّهَاthat itعَلَىis uponطَرِيقِthe way ofالْحِكَايَةِnarration
is upon the way of narration
مِثْلَlikeأَنْthatيَحْكِيَnarratesرَسُولُmessenger ofالْمَلِكِthe kingعَنْهُfrom himفَيَقُولُso he says
like a messenger of the king narrating from him, saying
فَتَحْنَا"We openedالْبَلَدَthe cityالْفُلَانِيَّso and soوَحَكَمْنَاand we ruledالْقَلْعَةَthe fortressالْفُلَانِيَّةَso and so"
"We opened the city so and so, and we ruled the fortress so and so"
فَظَاهِرٌso it is apparentأَنَّthatهَذَاthisالرَّسُولَmessengerلَيْسَis notإِلَّاexceptتَرْجُمَانًاan interpreterلِلْمَلِكِfor the kingوَمُبَلِّغًاand a conveyorعَنْهُfrom him
so it is apparent that this messenger is nothing but an interpreter for the king and a conveyor from him
وَحَقِيقَةُand the reality ofالْفِعْلِthe actionرَاجِعَةٌgoes backإِلَىtoنَفْسِهِhimself
and the reality of the action goes back to himself
نَوْعٌA typeخَاصٌّspecialمِنَofالْوَحْيِrevelation
A special type of revelation:
وَيُمْكِنُAnd it is possibleأَنَّthatالْوَحْيَthe revelationإِلَىtoعِيسَىJesus--عَلَيْهِupon himالسَّلَامُpeace
And it is possible that the revelation to Jesus - peace be upon him
عَنْthroughطَرِيقِthe way ofانْطِبَاعِimprintingالْمَعَانِيmeaningsفِيinلَوْحِtablet ofقَلْبِهِhis heart
through the imprinting of meanings in the tablet of his heart
مِنْfromقِبَلِbeforeالْمَلَإِthe assemblyالْأَعْلَىHighest
from the Highest Assembly
لَاnotتَمَثُّلُrepresentation ofجِبْرِيلَGabriel--عَلَيْهِupon himالسَّلَامُpeaceبِصُورَةِin the form ofالْبَشَرِhumans
not the representation of Gabriel - peace be upon him - in human form
وَإِلْقَاءِand castingالْوَحْيِrevelationإِلَيْهِto him
and casting revelation to him
فَبِسَبَبِso because ofهَذَاthisالِانْطِبَاعِdirect imprintingالْمُبَاشِرِdirectجَرَىflowedمِنْهُfrom himمِنَofالْكَلَامِspeechمَاwhatأَشْعَرَindicatedبِنِسْبَةِattribution ofالْأَفْعَالِactionsإِلَيْهِto him
so because of this direct imprinting, speech flowed from him that indicated the attribution of actions to him
مَعَalong withأَنَّthatالْحَقِيقَةَthe realityغَيْرُother thanذَلِكَthat
along with the fact that the reality is other than that
وَالْأَمْرُand the matterوَاضِحٌis clear
and the matter is clear
وَبِالْجُمْلَةِAnd in shortفَإِنَّindeedاللَّهَGod--تَعَالَىExalted is He--رَدَّrefutedعَلَىagainstهَذِهِtheseالْمَسَالِكِpathsالْبَاطِلَةِfalse
And in short, God - the Exalted - refuted these false paths
