Introduction of the book

Indeed, the bounties and favors of Allah - Exalted is He - upon His weak servant are many and cannot be counted,

and the greatest of these favors is His granting me success in understanding His Wise Book,

and indeed the favors of our master the Messenger of Allah - peace and blessings be upon him - upon the least of his nation,

in status, are great and abundant, and the greatest of them is his conveying - peace and blessings be upon him - of the Book of his Lord - Almighty and Majestic -.

Indeed, the first generation received from him - peace and blessings be upon him - the Noble Quran,

and the second generation received it from the first, and so on onward until it reached the weak servant, so he obtained his share of its recitation, understanding, and contemplation.

O Allah, send prayers upon this Noble Prophet,

our master and our protector, our intercessor, with the best of Your prayers and the most auspicious of Your blessings, and upon his family and his companions,

and all the scholars of his nation, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

As for what follows!

The one in need of Allah, Wali Allah bin Abdul Rahim - says

- may Allah - Exalted is He - deal with both of them with His great kindness -:

Indeed, when Allah - Exalted is He - opened upon me a door from His Wise Book,

it occurred to me to record the beneficial points that benefit my brothers in contemplating the speech of Allah - Almighty and Majestic -

and I hope that merely understanding these rules will open for students a wide path to understanding
