3 - Explanation that
عَدَمَthe absenceظُهُورِof appearanceالْمُعْجِزَاتِof the miracles
the non-appearance of the miracles
الَّتِيwhichيَقْتَرِحُونَهَاthey proposeعَلَىtoالْرَّسُولِ،the Messenger,
which they propose to the Messenger,
وَعَدَمَand the absenceمُوَافَقَةِof agreementاللَّهِof Allah-تَعَالَى--Exalted is He-
and the absence of Allah's agreement
إِيَّاهُمْwith themفِيinتَعْيِيْنِappointingشَخْصٍa person
with them in appointing a person
يَتَوَّخَّڤُونَthey desireرِسَالَتَهُ،his message,
they desire his message,
وَعَدَمَand the absenceإِرْسَالِهِof His sending-تَعَالَى-Exaltedشَأْنٕ-is His majesty-
and the absence of His sending - Exalted is His majesty -
الْمَلَائِكَةِthe angelsرُسُلًاas messengersبِيْنَbetweenالْنَّاسِ،the people,
the angels as messengers between the people,
وَعَدَمَand the absenceإِوْحَائِهِof His revealingإِلَىtoكُلِّeveryشَخْصٍperson
and the absence of His revealing to every individual person,
مِنْofالْأَشْخَاصِ،the persons,كُلُّallذَلِكَthat
all of that
يَنْبَنِيis builtعَلَىuponالْمَصَالِحِthe comprehensive interestsالْكُلِّيَّةِtotal
is based on comprehensive interests
الَّتِيwhichيَقْصُرُfalls shortعِلْمُهُمْtheir knowledgeعَنْfromإِدْرَاكِهَاcomprehending it
which their knowledge falls short of comprehending
وَتَعْجِزُand are incapableعُقُوْلُهُمْtheir mindsعَنِfromالْإِحِاطِةِencompassingبِمَرَامِيْهَا.its ultimate goals.
and their minds are incapable of encompassing its ultimate goals.
وَلِمَّاAnd becauseأَنَّthatأَڤْكَرَmostالْنَّاسِof the people
And because most of the people
الَّتِيto whomبُعِثْwas sentإِلَيْهِto himالْرَّسُولُthe Messenger
to whom the Messenger was sent
-صَلَّڭ-may Allah's peaceالَّهُand blessingsعَلَيْهِbe upon him-كَانُوْاwereمْشْرِكِيْنْ،polytheists,
- may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him - were polytheists,
لِذَلِكَthereforeفَإِنَّindeedهَذِهِtheseالْمَعَانِيmeanings
therefore these meanings
قَدْhaveتَكَرَّرَتْrepeatedفِيinالْقُرْآنِthe QuranالْكَرِيْمِNoble
have been repeated in the Noble Quran
بِأَسَالِيْبَin stylesمِتَعَدِّدِةْdiverseوَفِيand inسُوَرِsurahsكَثِيْرَةِ،many,
in diverse styles and in many surahs,
وَبِتَأْكِيْدَاتِand with affirmationsبَالِغَةْ،profound,
and with profound affirmations,
وَلَمْand has notيَتَحَاشِhesitatedالْقُرْآنِthe QuranالْعَظِيْمِGreat
and the Great Quran has not hesitated
تَرِدَّادَهِin its iterationوَتَكِرَّارِهِ،and repetition,
in its iteration and repetition,
فِإِنَّهُfor indeed itحَقِيْقِis fittingأَنْthatيَكُونَit beخِطَابِthe address
for indeed it is fitting that the address
الْحَكِيْمِof the WiseالْمُطَلَقِAbsoluteلِهَؤُلَاءِto theseالْجَهَلَةِ،ignorant ones,
of the Absolute Wise to these ignorant ones,
وَالْضَّعِيْفِيْand the weakالْعُقُوْلِin intellectكَذَالِكَlikewise
and the weak in intellect likewise
بِتَأْكِيْدٍwith an emphasisبَلِيْغٍeloquentوَتَكِرَّارٍand a repetitionمَزِيْدٍ.abundant.
with eloquent emphasis and abundant repetition.

[- The Quranic Argument with the Jews -]
أَنْوَاعِTypesضَلَالِof deviationالْيَهُوْدِ:of the Jews:
Types of deviation of the Jews:
لَقَدْIndeedكَانَwereالْيَهُوْدُthe Jewsيَؤْمِنُوْنَbelievingبِالْتَّوْرَاةِ،in the Torah,
Indeed, the Jews used to believe in the Torah,
وَكَانَand wasضَلَالُهُمْtheir deviationالْتَّحْرِيْفَdistortionفِيinأَحْكَامِthe rulingsالْتَّوْرَاةِ،of the Torah,
and their deviation was distorting the rulings of the Torah,
سَوْءَwhetherكَانَit wasتَحْرِيْفًاdistortionلِفْظِيًّاverbal
whether it was verbal distortion
أَوْorتَحْرِيْفًاdistortionمَعْنَوِيًّا،conceptual,
or conceptual distortion,
وَكِتْمَانَand concealingآيَاتِversesالْتَّوْرَاةِ،of the Torah,
and concealing the verses of the Torah,
وَإِلْحَاقَand attachingمَاwhatلِيْسَis notمِنْهَاfrom itبِهَا،to it,
and attaching to it what is not from it,
وَالْتَّقْصِيْرَand falling shortفِيinتِنْفِيذِimplementingأَحْكَامِهَا،its rulings,
and falling short in implementing its rulings,
وَالْعَصَبِيَّةِand intense fanaticismالْشَّدِيْدِsevereلِدِيْانَتِهِمْ،for their religion,
and intense fanaticism for their religion,
وَاسْتِنْكَارِand denouncingرِسَالَةِthe messageسِيَّدِنَاof our masterمُحَمَّدٍMuhammad-صَلَّڭ-may Allah's peaceالَّهُand blessingsعَلَيْهِbe upon him-
and denouncing the message of our master Muhammad - may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him -
وِسُوْءِand badالْأَدَبِmannersمَعَwithرُسُوْلِthe Messengerاللَّهِof Allah--
and bad manners with the Messenger of Allah -
